The battle-damaged Argama docks at the run-down Side 1 space colony Shangri-La for repairs and medical attention. Meanwhile, young local junk dealer Judau Ashta comes across a fully intact escape pod in a debris field near the colony, taking it back inside with him. While Judau argues with his friends about whether or not to simply sell the pod, a surviving Titans pilot emerges from it, brandishing a gun and demanding that the boys help him.

The Neo Zeon cruiser Endra docks at Shangri-La. Hoping to avoid conflict, Bright has the Argama retreat into the colony's interior. Just then, Judau successfully boards the Argama, hoping to take the Zeta Gundam for himself.
